Whole watta fun!!!

This year has been really hot so my kids have spent plenty of time enjoying the water to keep them cool!! Monday after we got back from Canada we were going to clean out our basement until Kendra called and asked us if we wanted to go swimming, we thought that was a better idea than cleaning out the basement so we went and had lots of fun! After swimming we went over to Kendra and Tony's and made smores. Marshall was helping Kendall roast all the marshmellows. Marshall didn't want to go into the pool at first he stayed right by us and wanted us to hold him, then he fell asleep so I had to float around on the tube and hold him while he slept. When he woke up he was ok with being in the water by himself, then he started really walking around onhis own, it was nice to have him like the water. When his feet would float up and he couldn't get them back down we taught him to say "help" it was so cute!

When we went to the lake with Kendra and Tony and brought our little boat!! Marshall and Jenika liked to ride on the little boat with dad! Kendall did some wake boarding and was really good at it, Tony's nephew was on the tube and crashed way hard! It was fun!

After the race

After the race I wanted to check out the booths they had set up, so Kendall, the kids, David, Tawni and I all went to check them out and we found a really fun milk booth! They had milk mustache photos!! We all did it except for Kendall, he was being lame!! They all turned out good!

I went first and got my pic done but it didn't turn out good. David did his, then Tawni was saying she wanted to do it so I said lets do it with the kids and we got a really cute picture!! After the race we went home and we all took a nap, Jenika was so tired!!

Salt Lake Marathon

April 18, 2009 was the Salt Lake Marathon. A couple days before the marathon I went to go pick up my packet for the race and Jenika kept saying we're going to win the race right mom?? I told her she wasn't going to run the race, she kept saying she wanted to and they actually had a little race for kids so asked her like 3 times if she was sure she wanted to do it and she kept saying yes she did. So I signed her up! Everyday until that Saturday she kept saying "I'm so excited for the race today" so I had to keep telling her it wasn't for a couple days still. The morning of the race we needed to leave the house by about 6:00 a.m. when I woke her up and asked if she was ready for the race she said "I'm so excited for the race, I am going to win!!" I told her everyone was a winner. We went to the race and I did the 5k I started about 7 minutes late because of the bus driver and I had to pee sooo bad!! But I finally started the race and I was doing really good till I needed to take off my sweater than I had to fumble with my sweater, ipod, gatorade, and bid #! It took me about a block to get situated. While I was doing that I saw I was walking up to where Brigette was so finished the rest of the race with her and her friend!! I finished in 44 minutes! Then it was off to Jenikas race! They did a little warm up with some stretches and jumping jacks then they were off and running, they allowed 1 parent to run with the kids with they wanted so I ran with Jenika and I told her if she was tired we would walk but she kept saying no i wanna run! So run we did!! She ran the whole .62 mile! I am so proud of her!!

The kids got to go through the big finish line like all the other racers! They got a medal and some snacks when they were done! Jenika just loved it!! G & G Sprau, Rose, Parker, Chris, Jen, David, Tawni, Dad, and Marshall were all there to support Jenika and I!!

Marshall

Marshall, what can I say that kid is such a BOY!!! He loves to do everything his dad is doing, no matter what it is! He looks up to his dad in many ways (and not just by tilting his head to see him ha, ha!!) For Christmas Santa brought him a noisey little lawn mower but now that it's warm outside he can take it outside and use it when his dad mows!! Marshall saw that dad and Grandpa were getting the garden area ready and just had to go help, so Dad was teaching him how to use the roto tiller!! Marshall loves his Dad very much and loves to help him!! What a better person to learn from than your dad??

Bees game

Every year Kendalls work gives him tickets to the bees game, and the seats are great we sit 3 rows behind the visitors dugout!! My kids love to go to the games!! This was our 1st game of the season and the girls asked Jenika if she would like to come up and sing "take me out to the ballgame" with them, it was way cute even though she didn't know the words!! Jenika got a frisbee with a free ice cream on it also!

Easter

Easter this year was lots of fun, it always gets funner the older my kids get! We had an easter egg hunt @ Grandma & Granpa Weavers house Kristie & Brett and the kids were here, it was lots of fun. We dyed easter eggs at G & G Weavers house after Haydens birthday party! Easter morning the easter bunny came by and brought my kids some cute new church clothes and fun treats for their baskets!!

My big girl is 4!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENIKA!!!
I cant believe my big girl is 4!!! She is just so big!!! She loves to do lots of different things. She loves to go fishing and loves to help her dad with whatever he is doing!!! She loves to dance and loves to go to dance class!! She loves sports like tee ball and soccer!!! She loves to go snowmobiling and loves riding her little four wheeler and teaching her brother how to ride it!! She is now a sunbeam and loves it!! She loves to learn and cant wait to go to preshool!! She has done so much in her little life, it is so amazing how much and how fast they learn. She loves to help mom do everything, and loves to help teach Marshall. I couldn't ask for better, cuter big girl!!!!!
